This jewel in Abu Dhabi’s crown is home to meandering boardwalks that allow you to wander through the mangroves, discovering a nature-rich side to Abu Dhabi and spotting an array of wildlife, from turtles to herons, gazelle and more. Birdwatchers, nature-lovers and photographers will be in their element in this park.

The island features Yas Mall, Abu Dhabi’s largest luxury retail outlet, and Yas Marina Circuit, one of the world’s most renowned racetracks, which offers loads of activities for all the family. It is a popular leisure island and one of the top tourism projects in Abu Dhabi. It also features Yas Waterworld (a fun-?lled waterpark), Ferrari World Abu Dhabi (Ferrari-focussed theme park), CLYMB (featuring an indoor climbing wall and indoor sky diving) and Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi (cartoon-themed fun for all the family).

 

SHEIKH ZAYED HERITAGE FESTIVAL

Dates: from 18th November 2021 to April 1st, 2022.

Named in honour of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founder of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the Sheikh Zayed Heritage Festival celebrates the United Arab Emirates’ cultural inheritance, showcases the rich diversity of its traditions and enlightens visitors about the legacy of the nation’s founder. The festival visitors can experience Emirati heritage and culture through its arts, crafts, foods and customs. It features various leisure activities, cultural and entertainment shows, competitions and spectacular ?reworks.
